The Russian company Gazprom announced today that the volume of gas supplies from Russia to Europe has decreased to 24.4 million cubic meters, or about 40 percent less than the level at the beginning of this month.
Sputnik quoted the official representative of the Russian company, Sergey Kupriyanov, as telling reporters: “Gazprom pumped Russian gas transit today through the territory of Ukraine through the Suga pipeline, with an amount of 24.4 million cubic meters.”
Last Wednesday, the volume of supply amounted to 32.6 million cubic meters, and yesterday it decreased by 23 percent to 25.1 million cubic meters.
