Elon Musk, until recently the richest man in the world, is getting more and more complicated, and some are beginning to doubt: is he losing it?

Elon Musk, until not long ago the richest man in the world (and even now not exactly supported by Saad, with a private capital of about 150 billion dollars), entrepreneur and successful CEO, has always been an exception in the business landscape. He managed to stand out as such not only Compared to everything we knew about businessmen in the conservative American business world, the one run by white men with silver hair, but even in this high-tech era: one where executives come to offices on scooters, dressed in jeans and t-shirts.

The problem is that anything that aroused curiosity Or considered at most a gimmick, as long as Musk went from strength to strength, in the last year became a question mark hovering over the man's business: has he lost it completely?

As long as Musk's strangeness was limited to strange tweets or giving strange names to children, let's say, but it seems that the turning point can be noted on the day he committed to purchasing Twitter, the social network in which he was particularly active, just like someone named Donald Trump, or should we say - more One who discovered that tweets in the virtual world could have dramatic meaning in the real world.

Because of a Twitter trial

Musk is on trial in the state of California on suspicion of inflating Tesla's stock with a false tweet.

In 2018, Musk wrote that Tesla may become a private company and even added that he has interested parties.

As a result, the share price soared.

After a few days it became clear that things never happened, the stock fell and the shareholders lost capital.

It seems that since then Musk has turned the absurd tweets into an art.

Among other things, he tweeted, last year, that he intends to purchase the Manchester United football club - and hastened to clarify that the words were written in humor.

Why is it funny and who?

Musk has solutions.

Some even claim that Musk uses a lot of delusional tweets to corroborate his defense's claim in the trial that he was joking when he claimed that Tesla was going to go private and even added that his followers know that there is no need to take him seriously.

This isn't even Musk's most seemingly far-fetched claim as part of his defensive battle.

At the beginning of the month, he asked to move the trial from California to Florida.

The reason: Musk moved both his private residence and the Tesla factories to Texas.

According to him, this caused local hostility towards him in California, in a way that could bias the trial.

Speaking of tweets on Twitter, the feeling is that Musk has become the owner of the platform against his will.

He did submit an offer for the purchase - and at one point it seemed that he was serious, but very quickly asked to withdraw, only to find out that it was not possible.

Recovery process or revenge?

Twitter's profits, which to begin with were not huge (relatively to a large and important social network) fell not because of Musk, but as part of the blows the field took from the capital market.

But Musk, who announced even before he sat on the throne of the owner, that he intends to conduct what in the high-tech industry is called a "massacre" - and fire 80% of the company's employees, winked at the investors when he assured them, according to several sources, that he would reduce the workforce by 75%.

In his short term as the owner of Twitter, Musk managed to make mistakes several times, but at least when it comes to layoffs, to Musk's credit it should be noted that the platform works properly.

Although there were complaints about a decrease in the quality of the service, as long as you can tweet and read freely, the claim that Musk did not cut the meat but the fat is strengthened.

Whether it is a legitimate recovery plan for a bleeding business in the face of a difficult economic reality or whether it is the continuation of his campaign of revenge on a platform he was forced to purchase reluctantly, it can be assumed that Musk may be able to restore Twitter, but it is doubtful whether he will be able to restore its image.

There is no disputing the man's genius, or at least there weren't many until recently, but when you read his puzzling tweets (not long ago he asked Twitter surfers to decide whether he should remain the CEO - and this is just one example of seemingly serious business issues he shared with surfers ) - and especially when you hear him claim in court that he should not be taken seriously, it is quite possible that the following parties who want to establish business ventures with him, will not want to get involved with someone who is difficult to tell when he is serious and when he is joking (again, with humor that is probably understood only by him).

So it's true, you shouldn't feel sorry for Musk - he will remain extremely rich in any possible scenario.

What's more, one can certainly wonder if the demons that were always imprisoned in him took over the marketing genius who became the richest man in the world.
