The service trade union Ver.di called for warning strikes in the collective bargaining dispute with Deutsche Post on Thursday.
According to Ver.di, employees in selected companies in the parcel and letter centers as well as in parcel, letter and network delivery should take part in the all-day campaigns nationwide.
According to the information, around 30,000 employees took part in the day-long nationwide strikes in letter and parcel centers last week from Thursday evening to Saturday.
With reference to the high inflation, the union is demanding a wage increase of 15 percent for the employees of Deutsche Post AG with a term of the collective agreement of twelve months.
The training allowances are to be increased by 200 euros per month for each year of training.
