One of the journalist's pleasures, for me anyway, in the exercise of long-term storytelling, is to dive back into old notebooks.
I peeled mine to reconstruct the saga of the Renault-Nissan Alliance in this article, a few days before the announcement, probably on February 6, of the major capital rebalancing between the two manufacturers.
On this occasion, I found some words spoken by Jean-Dominique Senard during the general meeting of shareholders of Renault.
Words almost offbeat that day, as the new president of Losange was expected on the one hand on the Carlos Ghosn affair, and on the other on the failure of the merger with Fiat-Chrysler and the standoff that this episode provoked with the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire (if you want to refresh your memory on this moment of business anthology, I put this archive paper for you here).
