British airline Flybe announced today that it has suspended operations and canceled all flights.
And Agence France-Presse quoted the company as saying on Twitter: “We announce that Flybe is placed under judicial administration,” explaining that all its flights to and from the United Kingdom have been canceled, and will not be rescheduled.
For its part, the British Civil Aviation Authority asked passengers who had booked tickets on the company's planes not to go to the airport.
Flybe resumed its flights last April after its bankruptcy in 2020 due to the repercussions of the Covid epidemic, which dealt a severe blow to many players in the aviation sector.
The airline was at one time the UK's domestic leader, operating up to 530 flights per week, primarily from London Heathrow Airport to British cities, as well as overseas flights to destinations such as Amsterdam and Geneva.
