Gold prices rose in the local market by two thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 carats, compared to the price recorded on the 26th of this month, due to the high price of an ounce globally.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Making Jewelry and Precious Stones in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 355 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 354,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 304,286 pounds and 303,786 pounds, a purchase price.
The association set the selling price of the 995-carat ounce at 13,250,000 pounds, and the selling price of the 21-carat gold pound at 3,100,000 pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it under penalty of legal accountability, and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0112248005 and 0112230766.
