Due to the mobilization against the pension reform, Tuesday, January 31, Air France announces the cancellation of one flight in ten.

This social movement, however, spares all long-haul flights.

“Air France plans to ensure all of its long-haul flights (and) 90% of its short and medium-haul flights for this day”, specifies the company.

However, there may be last minute delays and cancellations.

“The flight schedule is up to date and customers affected by canceled flights have been notified individually, by SMS, e-mail or via the Air France application”, adds the company.

For travelers whose flight is cancelled, it is possible to obtain a credit note or a full refund in the event that they no longer travel.

Air France is also offering to postpone the trip free of charge until February 7.

This reduction in flights notably follows the request of the Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile to all airlines to reduce their flight schedule to and from Paris Orly by 20%.
