After many years of losses, the online retailer windeln.de filed for bankruptcy in October.
Now the search for an investor has apparently failed.
The company should therefore be wound up.
Despite numerous discussions with interested parties, the insolvency administrator Ivo-Meinert Willrodt has not found an investor, the company said in Munich.
“A sale is planned for the coming weeks and months.
After that, operations will have to be shut down.«
Windeln.de filed for bankruptcy at the end of October after months of struggling for a capital injection.
The company has been in the red for years, and sales collapsed to 52 million euros in 2021.
When it went public in 2015, the young company was valued at half a billion euros, most recently it was almost five million.
On Monday, the share was still at 16 cents.
