The Russian Central Bank announced today that Russia's international reserves increased by 0.5 percent, to reach $597.7 billion.

Sputnik quoted the central bank as saying in a statement: The volume of international reserves by January 27, 2023, amounted to $597.7 billion, after its rise in a week by $3.1 billion.

The volume of reserves on January 20 of last year amounted to 594.6 billion dollars, and the Russian international reserves represent liquidity in foreign assets at the Russian Central Bank, and it consists of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserve status in the cash fund and funds in foreign currency.
