As each segment tends to wait for the other to take the first step, TotalEnergies and Air Liquide have decided to prime the pump.
The two groups announce the creation of a joint venture, without specifying the amount of the investments made.
They are simply qualified as “
significant
” by those concerned.
As part of this partnership, they will deploy a network of more than 100 hydrogen stations for heavy goods vehicles in France, Germany and Benelux over ten years.
Enough to cover major highways, “
European corridors, and transport hubs
” such as ports.
TotalEnergies and Air Liquide will bring to the joint venture the hydrogen stations they already have, i.e. a dozen in total.
