Brigitte Maccioni: “Cinema emerges from the crisis even stronger”

We must ask ourselves the question: was the cinematographic offer similar to that before the pandemic?

The answer is no.

In 2022, there was not a density and diversity of films comparable to what viewers were accustomed to.

But we are sure of one thing today: our model is stronger than ever.

For three years, American producers have been pragmatic.

The theaters being closed, they have chosen to broadcast part of their films on their SVOD platforms.

They carried out tests, to better rediscover that the theatrical release was by far the best way to create financial and editorial value...
