Gold prices rose in the local market today by 10 thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 karat, compared to the price recorded yesterday, due to the fluctuation of its global prices.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Goldsmithing, Jewelry and Precious Stones in Damascus today, a 21-carat gram of gold recorded a selling price of 360,000 pounds, and a purchase price of 359,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 308,571 pounds, and a purchase price of 308,071 pounds.
The association set the selling price of the 995-carat ounce at 13,450,000 pounds, and the selling price of the 21-carat gold pound at 3,150,000 pounds.
And the price of a gram of gold decreased yesterday by 11 thousand Syrian pounds, as the 21-carat gram recorded a selling price of 350 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 349,500 pounds, and an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 300,000 pounds and 299,500 pounds, a purchase price, while the sale price of an ounce of 995 carat was set at 13. One million and 100 thousand pounds, and the 21-carat gold pound is 3 million and 75 thousand pounds.
The association emphasized that the craftsmen adhere to the pricing issued by it under penalty of legal accountability, and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0112248005 and 0112230766.
