The disturbances for the next mobilization against the pension reform are becoming clearer.
Trains canceled, flights canceled, schools closed… Tuesday February 7 will again be marked by a major strike movement, after those of January 19 and 31.

“Severely disrupted” traffic at the SNCF
On the main lines, SNCF expects to see one out of two TGVs running on average (it was one out of three during the previous day of action, Tuesday January 31): two out of five TGVs on the North axis, one out of two in the East, one out of three in the Atlantic arc and two out of five for the South-East, from province to province and for the Ouigos.
On the Transiliens side, two out of three trains are planned on average.
Overall, the SNCF recommends to its customers who can postpone their trip that day, or, if not, to check the circulation of their train from Monday 5 p.m.
Many metros canceled on the RATP side
In Paris, the RATP provides for its part "very disrupted traffic on the RER and Metro networks", "slightly disrupted on the Bus network and normal on the Tramway network".
In the Paris metro, lines 1 and 14 (automatic) will operate normally, as will 3bis.
One in two trains will run on line 4. For the others, the trains will be less frequent with reduced hours in the evening, or only at peak times, or even for two others (the 8 and the 13) on a section only of the line.
In general, like the SNCF, the RATP “invites all travelers who have the possibility to favor teleworking or to postpone their trips on the network that day”.
One in five flights canceled at Orly
The first civil aviation union, the USACcgt, had called on "all DGAC and ENAC personnel to go on massive strike and participate in the demonstrations" on 7 February.
As a result, as with previous strikes, the Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGAC) "has asked the airlines to reduce their flight schedule by 20% for the day of Tuesday February 7 at Paris-Orly airport" .
Disruptions are also to be expected at other airports in France.
No total stoppage in refineries
As in previous days of action against raising the retirement age to 64, refinery workers are planning a suspension of shipments to fuel depots for 48 hours.
While an energy blockage in the country seemed to be looming for next week, with a shutdown of TotalEnergies refineries, their employees wanted to temporize.
“The only impact on the working tool will be production flow reductions but not a shutdown,” explained Thierry Defresne, CGT secretary of the TotalEnergies Europe committee.
The CGT had however taken date to put to the vote of the employees a stop of the refineries, a hardening which it saw like a “crucial moment” in the movement.
Three-day mobilization at EDF
The national secretary at the National Federation of Mines and Energy-CGT (FNME-CGT), Fabrice Coudour, announced the launch, from Monday, of a strike movement at EDF for three days, i.e. 6, 7 and February 8.
A call that will be followed by other companies in the electricity and gas industries in France.
Strike to be expected in schools, high schools and universities
As of the end of the day of the mobilization of January 31, the inter-union had called to strike “even more massively”.
Youth organizations also called on Thursday for the blocking of "places of study, high schools and universities" on February 7.
