After several difficult years, the bank with the red and black logo is doing well.
In 2022, it generated record revenues of 28.06 billion euros, up 8.8% year-on-year.
Weighed down by his retirement from Russia, his net income was almost divided by three to 2.02 billion euros.
In the spring, the crash sale of its Russian subsidiary, Rosbank, cost it 3.3 billion euros.
Without this, Societe Generale could have matched the record results of 2021, at 5.6 billion euros.
