The French construction giant Vinci made a net profit of 4.26 billion euros in 2022, up 64%.
The figures are driven by its infrastructure concessions such as highways, construction and energy.
More than half of the profits come from the motorways, ie 2.2 billion euros (+ 15%).
Net profit from concessions in general, which also includes airports managed by Vinci, almost doubled to 2.7 billion euros (i.e. +96.3%, compared to a negative 2021 for Vinci Airports).
The turnover of the group, of 61.675 billion, is up by 25%.
The CEO hails the "adaptability of his companies"
Vinci Energies is at 693 million euros in profit (+ 25%) and Vinci Construction, the main division of the group since it represents half of the turnover, is at 680 million (+ 19%) in net profit.
“In a particularly disturbed geopolitical and macroeconomic context, Vinci achieved a high quality overall performance in 2022.
