The Russian company Gazprom announced today that it supplies Europe with natural gas through Ukraine, at a volume of 30.8 million cubic meters per day, through the Suga crossing point.
The TASS news agency quoted a representative of the Russian company Gazprom as saying: “The company supplies Europe with Russian gas through Ukrainian territory with the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side of 30.8 million cubic meters through the Suga pumping station,” noting that the Ukrainian side rejected requests to pump through the Sukhranovka point.
And the transit line through Ukraine remains the only way to supply the countries of western and central Europe with Russian gas.
