In preparation for International Women's Day, which will be celebrated on March 8, a collaboration was forged between Moran Atias, Bank Hapoalim and other partners to promote the project ME FIRST!

A project that will be dedicated entirely to women and will host inspiring women who will tell Moran Atias how they broke the glass ceiling and fulfilled themselves.

Moran Atias

: "This is the politics I want to promote - a politics of values, we are not waiting for anyone to make the change for us, but we take each other to a future where the woman puts herself first. Strengthening self-worth, fulfillment and financial independence for every woman in Israel. It is important to me to promote the economic discourse for every woman, that is why I contacted Bank Hapoalim, who immediately got involved in the project and became an active partner in building a women's day that is not seen in Israel."

"It was important to me to strengthen the economic discourse for every woman, so I approached Bank Hapoalim, who immediately got involved in the project and became an active partner in building a women's day that is not seen in Israel. We women do not need to be chosen for us, or for someone to approve us to fulfill ourselves. Every woman can decide for herself and fulfill her dreams and aspirations thanks to her abilities."

"Many of the women face a whole array of daily obligations, whether it's career, family, and the dictates of the society around them and, unfortunately, forget the need to take care of themselves. The purpose of the event is to bring women together, to provide them with ways of thinking and information about the paths that exist before them, and above all to give them tools for self-fulfillment".

And yet, women earn less than men

Naama Halevi Parr, Director of the Center for Social Banking at Bank Hapoalim

: "Even in 2023 we are still required to celebrate Women's Day. Despite the long way we have traveled since 1909 when International Women's Day was first celebrated, even today the average salary of a woman in Israel is 83% of the salary of a man".

As proof of this, Halevi Par points out that: "In all index 125 companies there are only 5 female CEOs.

As part of Bank Hapoalim's long-standing social mission, we work to promote gender equality and address issues faced by women.

In addition, we set ourselves the goal of providing women with tools on the way to financial and economic independence through the Center for Financial Growth." "

I am proud that the bank decided to sponsor and support an inspiring event that puts women at the center.

We will continue to act in broad circles so that we do not have to experience gender inequality, wage disparities and rising violence in the years to come."

Personal fulfillment and financial independence

The project ME FIRST!

will focus on two main themes:

personal fulfillment:

inspiring women will tell how they broke the glass ceiling and fulfilled themselves with personal stories of women who are model mothers 2023, such as: Bel Agam who chose to be a woman, Adwa Dadon the reporter of the news company, Ethiopian First Minister Pnina Tamno Sheta , Dr. Or Chen Foundation for decision-making, Naga D'Angeli who bursts with laughter, Alalof Sharabi Foundation - funny all the way to the bank, and even the world champion Paralympic athlete Moran Samuel.

Financial independence:

Moran Atias brings to the fore the topic of financial independence with "money talks to me", how to talk about money, how to manage it and how to invest in yourself.

With the help of an expert from the financial world, Dr. Moran Ofir, and businesswomen who make millions, such as Chava Zingboim and Noi Hadas (Noi Sheda).

#I want to make dreams come true

As part of the event, many women will appear during the next few weeks in the digital space, to say what they want with the hashtag I want (#Iwant).

The personal desires will be published on billboards throughout the country: #I want financial independence, #I want to buy a house #I want to fulfill my dreams #I want love.

All of these are already appearing these days, across the web and on the billboards contributed by Adri and the Noor company, from women who say what they want without being ashamed, without hiding.

The event will take place on Wednesday March 1st at Hangar 11 Tel Aviv from 09:00 in the morning, with the participation of women who are part of the female mosaic in Israeli society and who succeeded each in their field in breaking the glass ceiling for self-fulfillment.

Buying tickets for the event is possible on the project website.
