Hyperplan: The collaborative crop monitoring platform to secure the agri-food chain

2023-02-20T09:31:41.073Z

Hyperplan offers its software solution with proprietary technology for using satellite and meteorological data.

Track large-scale crop production

Hyperplan is a young company founded in June 2021 by three French engineers.

Its goal: to monitor crop production in a context where climate change, disruptions in supply chains and geopolitical tensions are causing increasing volatility for agri-food chains around the world.

In May 2022, the company markets its first product.

Its solution uses satellite imagery and weather data to observe crop production, from the plot scale to the country scale.

Thanks to its proprietary artificial intelligence technology, Hyperplan makes it possible to monitor crop rotation, agricultural yields, the level of crop maturity, harvest duration and quality risks.

For example, for agricultural cooperatives and traders, Hyperplan generates a provisional collection schedule, including tonnes per crop to be collected per harvest week.

Thus, Hyperplan users secure the planning and execution of their collection operations for efficiency gains of up to €3/tonne collected and improve crop valuation.

For a sustainable agro-food chain

Hyperplan's mission is to secure the agri-food chain by adapting in particular to climate change, as a necessary condition for its sustainability.

Its solution is aimed at all players in the sector: input suppliers, cooperatives, traders or agri-food manufacturers.

Hyperplan already has several leading industrial customers, such as Vivescia, a French grain cooperative group, or Corteva Agriscience, a multinational seed production and crop protection solutions company.

Hyperplan is now aiming to deploy its solution on a large scale and will be available on European agricultural land from the first quarter of 2023. At the same time, the company is extending its deployment from cereal and oilseed crops to all crops including vegetables, crops sugar plantations, root crops and vines.

At the end of 2022, Hyperplan closed a fundraising of €4.1M supported by recognized investors: Demeter, BNP Paribas Développement, Polytechnique Ventures, PeakBridge, TechMind and Unilis Agtech.

Soon, the company will participate in the International Agricultural Show (Paris, February 25 to March 5).
