The price of gold in the local market rose by three thousand Syrian pounds per gram of 21 carats, compared to the price it recorded on the sixteenth of February.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craftsmanship Association for Drafting and Making Jewelry and Precious Stones in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 359 thousand pounds and a purchase price of 358,500 pounds, while the price of an 18-carat gram recorded a selling price of 307,714 pounds and a purchase price of 307,214 pounds.
The association set the selling price of an 995-carat ounce at 13 million, 435,000 pounds, and the selling price of a 21-carat gold pound at 3,150,000 pounds.
Gold prices were recorded on the 16th of this month for a 21-carat gram, a selling price of 356,000 pounds and a purchase price of 355,500 pounds, and for a 18-carat gram, a selling price of 305,143 pounds and a purchase price of 304,643 pounds, while the selling price of an ounce was 995, 13,325,000 pounds, and a selling price. The 21-carat gold pound is 3 million and 125 thousand pounds.
