The distribution giant Casino and Teract, owner of the garden centers Jardiland, announced Thursday in a press release an agreement for exclusive negotiations for a merger in France.

Teract and Casino have signed an
“exclusivity agreement”
with the aim of
“concluding a binding agreement in order to create the French leader in responsible and sustainable distribution”
, explain the two companies, after the confirmation in early February of
“exploratory discussions about
