Prof. Shashua is a man of many rights at the forefront of technology in Israel.
Among other things, he is a co-founder of ONE ZERO, the digital bank, as well as a founding partner of the "Orkam" company.
But it seems that most of all he is identified with the establishment - and its successful sale to Intel, of the "Mobilay" company,
Mobilay was founded by Prof. Shashua in 1999 when he developed a technology that connects a camera that can recognize vehicles and an algorithm that processes the mirror.
18 years later, after several rounds of raising funds and developing products that were integrated into advanced vehicles, the company was sold to the tech giant "Intel" for $15.3 billion - the largest sale transaction in Israel's history.
Shashua serves as the president and CEO of the company - and won not only great appreciation but also prestigious awards in the international arena in the worlds of academia, technology and automobiles.

Since then, the award committee published the word about his winning, the network reported.
It should be noted that even the most vehement protestors did not think that the award did not belong to Prof. Shashua, on the contrary - many of them also emphasized in the reviews they wrote the fact that he deserved the award - and yet, as many believed, when the Israeli high-tech industry is at the forefront of the fight against the legal revolution, receiving the award for His hand will be an injury to the protest.
