official
launch of the PreTravel 4 program will be made,
which can be used on the May and June holidays.
Although there is still no precise date for the launch, sources from the Secretary of Tourism commented to Clarín that the plan, which aims to reimburse 50% of the expenses made within the country, will be carried out shortly.
“
Between the end of this week and the beginning of next week, the price agreement will be signed and the registration dates of the companies and also those of the purchase for tourists will be announced,” they commented
.
Also, the same source pointed out that "the idea that the plan is useful for people to travel in May and June
continues ,
especially so that they can travel on the long weekends of
May 25 and June 20
”.
The first is combined with the holiday on Friday, May 26 and the second, (Belgrano's death), with the bridge holiday on Monday 19.
Unfortunately, due to the delay in the launch of the fourth version of the Pre-Travel,
they will not have an impact on the Travel Sale purchases,
(the online event for discounts in the sector) which is already underway and will run until April 2.

The Pre-Trip only includes local destinations.
According to the data handled by the Tourism portfolio, in charge of Matias Lammens,
the budget for this edition is $20,000 million
.
Meanwhile, the top of the return to tourists for the expense they have made in their purchase, will rise again to about $
90,000 to $100,000 per person
, according to the update provided for inflation.
In the previous edition, the maximum amount had been $70,000 because it was low season rates.
Another difference with respect to the previous edition is that the term for the use of the credit will be longer,
since it can be used throughout 2023 and not just for two months.
On this occasion, the program will have a price control.
In other words, there will be maximum rates for accommodations taking into account the location and the number of stars of the establishment.
If the rate of a hotel exceeds the expected value against last year, this accommodation is eliminated from the benefit.
The travel agencies also undertake not to modify the amounts of excursions and transfers, as specified in Tourism.
According to an audit carried out by the Secretary of Commerce,
at least ten hotel accommodations located in six different provinces will not be able to participate
in the next editions of the PreTravel program, because they did not comply with the Price Agreement signed in August 2022.

As has been the case since the first edition, the official program provides for the reimbursement of 50% of the expenses declared by tourists within the national territory.
That credit remains on a preloaded card from Banco Nación (or in the app) and can then be used for other consumption related to tourism or gastronomy.
On this occasion, the plan can be applied to all destinations in the country.
In the case of
retirees who use the system, the reimbursement of expenses amounts to 70%,
as it happened in the previous version.
According to the data handled by the Ministry of Tourism, in the first edition, the program was used by 600,000 tourists and $15,000 million was mobilized between the pre-purchase and the credit granted.
In the second, there were 4.5 million tourists and $150,000 million mobilized.
Finally, in the third edition, at the end of last year,
one million tourists used the benefits of the program that moved an amount of $
35,000 million.
