Telework has taken up residence in the offices of France.
According to a study carried out by Sarah Proust, expert associated with the Jean Jaurès Foundation, 80% of employees of large French companies now have the possibility of working remotely one or more days a week.
In SMEs, they are 74%.
Admittedly, not all jobs are “teleworkable”.
Not all eligible employees use this freedom either.
Even in 2021, when the Covid was still threatening, INSEE estimated 22% of employees who, on average, each week, had teleworked.
Nevertheless, hybrid work (partly in the office and partly remotely) has indeed become a habit.
According to the Observatory study of the hybridization of lifestyles carried out by de Toluna and Harris Interactive for HP, 82% of French people even believe that it will become widespread.
