Burger, sushi, pizza, but also made-to-measure salad, taco, poke bowl… Big winner of the Covid, fast food continues to attract the French and is gaining market share: on traditional catering with table service, but also - and very noticeably - about corporate catering.
In 2022, its turnover reached 23.4 billion euros (+ 19% compared to 2019) according to the firm CHD-Datassential, for the Sandwich & Snack Show.
This year again, the trend remains well oriented, despite repeated strikes and tensions on purchasing power.
Attendance remains encouraging and the pace of openings sustained.
It has never weakened, even during the Covid.
