Initiatives from the entrepreneurial world are multiplying to support French athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This Thursday, the president of Medef, Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, surrounded by the Minister of Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castera, and more than three hundred business leaders, welcomed around fifty high-level athletes, medalists and medalists, at the headquarters of the employers' movement as part of the Jesoutiensunathlete.fr initiative.
While many athletes are still looking for sponsors, business leaders of all sizes want to support them.
Unknown fact, according to Medef, more than half of top athletes live below the poverty line.
For their part, the Entrepreneurial Mentoring Institute (IME) and the Insep Alumni Club have created the Team Success scheme.
Twenty athlete-entrepreneur pairs have already been formed, and twenty-five new ones are to be formed by June.
If the champions are focused on the competition, they must anticipate the rest of their course.
The leaders provide them with support in this regard, as well as financial support of 5,000 euros.
They undertake to open their address book to them to encourage future collaborations and make them aware of business creation.
“Team Réussite is an innovative operation
, points out Dominique Restino, the president of IME France and of the CCI Paris Île-de-France.
Entrepreneur and athlete mutually enrich each other in the pursuit of their respective performances.”
