LE FIGARO.- You've been driving Valeo for fifteen months.

How long did it take you to make a diagnosis?

Christophe PÉRILLAT.-

I didn't need to make a diagnosis.

For eleven years, I was director of operations, after entering the company in 2000. I know the technologies, the teams, the customers, the factories.

Within a month of taking office, we made a major move in electrification by buying out Siemens' stake in our joint venture, and I presented our strategic plan to the markets.

The automotive sector is in the midst of a revolution, where the cards will be redistributed.

It involves going fast.
