A wake-up time?

7 hours.

I like to take my time.

The pitch of your position?

Develop the brand, its notoriety and its internationalization.

Figures to give here and now?

Eighteen boutiques and three hundred points of sale around the world in twenty-eight countries.

A very good growth (+ 40%) of the Menottes Dinh Van collection, our icon created in 1976, which goes through time.

An independent company of a hundred people.

If we go back to the origin?

We find Brittany, which my name cannot hide!

A childhood in the Paris region in a universe very far from that of luxury in which I evolve.

My mother was a teacher, my father a stockbroker.

An event that started it all?

Nothing really predisposed me to jewelry.

I fell in love with it twenty-five years ago during a student internship in Madrid during my studies at ESCP.

It was at Cartier, somewhat by chance.

I finally got there and stayed for twenty years.

Trust is cardinal, vertical and flows top-down and bottom-up

Corinne Le Foll

Your course accelerators?

Marketing management for Cartier in the Middle East in 2010. Two years in Dubai at a time marked by the emergence of a large international tourist clientele and by economic euphoria coinciding with the development of the luxury market in the region.

There was everything to do.

Experiences abroad are interesting movements, which make it easier to return to headquarters.

Upon my return, I led Cartier's marketing for five years before being appointed general manager for France.

Who trusted you?

I was lucky to have been supported by my various “bosses and bosses”.

But trust also comes from the teams.

It is cardinal, vertical and circulates from top to bottom and from bottom to top.

Obstacles in the way?

I would say: contexts of market crisis (“yellow vests”, the pandemic, etc.).

When these sudden stops happen, being well surrounded allows you to overcome many things.

And then, yes, it happens.

In the 1960s, this notion of everyday jewelry did not exist

Corinne Le Foll

Your challenges for tomorrow?

In a very concrete way, to accelerate our presence in the United States and establish the brand in Asia.

In priority China and South Korea, because they are two important territories for the luxury and jewelry market, but also in the name of a real affinity between Dinh Van aesthetics and the clientele of these countries.

What would you like to convey?

The creative heritage of this house founded in 1965 by Jean Dinh Van.

Singular and avant-garde, it had the effervescence of a Saint Laurent.

He came from high jewelry, and wanted jewelry to come out of the coffers, to take to the streets, so that women could afford them.

Today it seems normal.

In the 1960s, this notion of everyday jewelery did not exist.

A digital addiction?

Hunt for French ceramics from the 1950s online. I have alerts, favorite sites, it's very effective!

Creation is the key to everything

Corinne Le Foll

A moment off?

A play, as often as possible.

It requires a little organization, but I immediately get into it.

A thought that frees you?

Creation is the key to everything.

She is the red thread of my professional life.

Your definition of influence?

Federate around values.

Share rather than impose.

Lunch in town?

A Japanese address.

Toraya, rue Saint-Florentin, in Paris, not far from my office.

A weekend getaway?

A romantic getaway to Venice, out of season, in November.

A ritual for fifteen years.
