As the sunny days return, the aspiration for a haven of peace where to spend weekends with family and holidays with friends is back in force. But for the desire to materialize, it is better not to launch yourself as a dilettante and act methodically. Here are five tips to make the right choice and take action.
Be clear about your desires
Before peeling the real estate classifieds, fix your wishes. Will the house be used mainly on weekends? Will you spend more time there thanks to teleworking or will it only be busy during school holidays? In the first case, target an area within 200 kilometers, or two hours by car, of your home. In the second, prospect the areas near a station with a fast connection between your main and secondary residences, to leave before your family or return in shift. Finally, with the third option, all choices are allowed, even the most distant.
