As the largest emitter of CO², the transport sector will depend on fossil fuels for some time to come. Decarbonizing the thermal car fleet now before waiting for the realization of new technologies is proving to be one of the first ecological battles...

Decarbonizing the combustion fleet: the raison d'être of AlphaGreen

It is in the automotive industry that AlphaGreen's entrepreneurial adventure was born. Three years ago, Ludovic Chevènement, then an expert technician at a major car manufacturer, noted that while electric and hydrogen mobility are very promising, they are, nevertheless, at present, not yet operational. Electric, a virtuous solution, only answers part of the problem; Hydrogen, on the other hand, is not commercially mature enough and cannot yet rely on new adapted infrastructures.

Three years: this is what we have left to stop increasing greenhouse gas emissions, according to the latest IPCC report. Logically, the field of Transport, the largest emitter, must therefore now reduce its impact pending the arrival of new forms of mobility. The depollution of thermal engines is thus the first hobbyhorse to be conducted.

This is AlphaGreen's mantra: launch the first offensive against CO² emissions related to diesel engines. How? By fighting against engine fouling.

Patented and operational technology

Energy efficiency, fuel consumption and emissions... The depollution of thermal engines cannot wait.

Engine fouling is caused by combustion residues (scale). Settling on various parts of the engine and clogging the ducts, they cause breakdowns and / or prevent certain parts from fulfilling their mission, such as the particulate filter, with non-compliance with anti-pollution standards and overconsumption.

In doing so, AlphaGreen decided to design mobile engine cleaning stations in order to intervene directly on site or in partner garages for professionals and individuals.

The solution? Based on a connection with the ODB diagnostic socket of the vehicles, the technology patented by the company allows its technicians to perform a diagnosis of the operation of each engine in real time and to analyze the positioning of combustion residues, vectors of engine fouling.

The latter come from three vectors with varying consequences on engines: traffic conditions, fuel quality and driving styles. It is therefore essential to make a preliminary diagnosis in order to clean each engine in a perfectly adapted way.

Ecological, economic and health benefits for many customers

The economic, ecological and health interest of the solution patented by AlphaGreen allows it to offer its services to individuals, companies and communities. Whether we are talking about recurrent breakdowns, non-compliance with anti-pollution standards (especially low-emission zones) or overconsumption, it allows a reduction in emissions and real savings.

Carbon footprint, response to calls for tenders and public procurement, commitment to partners and customers, fight against climate change... AlphaGreen intervenes to respond to various problems.

For this, the company has developed a support process for the monitoring of vehicle fleets and an optimization of engine pollution adapted to each of its customers' realities.

This support process is composed of five phases: fleet diagnosis, establishment of a road map, on-site intervention, intervention and carbon footprint, and finally AlphaGreen certification containing all data on the total reduction of emissions and carcinogenic molecules.

Saving money by reducing consumption, fighting global warming on a daily basis by emitting less, reducing health risks by limiting carcinogenic particles: it is for all these reasons that the Roger Martin group is committed to the program by AlphaGreen. With the cleaning of 600 construction machines, 300 heavy goods vehicles and 800 commercial or private vehicles, huge volumes of CO² have been saved with a significant reduction in costs related to energy consumption.

By offering innovative and applicable solutions, AlphaGreen has positioned itself as a real player in the decarbonization and depollution of the mobility sector, preferring to act than suffer. In short: a committed and operational company that is up to the challenges of ecology.
