After the huge success of the "10,000 tickets at one euro" for Ouigo Train Classique, the SNCF draws new attractive promotions, as the summer season approaches. The railway company will offer, this Monday, 10,000 Youth Advantage cards at one euro, instead of 49 euros in normal times. At the same time, 10,000 vouchers of 10 euros for Ouigo will also be released. To try to pocket one, there will be no need to get up at dawn, as at sales openings.

A simple contest will be organized on the social networks of the SNCF. The lucky ones will be drawn by lot. All travellers under the age of 28 will be able to participate. "We want to specifically target the young population," says Christophe Fanichet, CEO of SNCF Voyageurs. They have a more constrained budget and are also more attentive to the carbon footprint of their travel. Finally, they are ambassadors to adults. »

Attractive TER offers

The railway group wants to allow the younger generation, sensitive to climate issues, to travel on high-speed lines, during the summer, while prices rise as the summer holidays approach. As a reminder, the Youth Advantage card, valid for one year, allows you to benefit from a 30% discount on TGV and Intercités trains for the bearer and a second adult, 60% for children (up to three) and prices capped, depending on the distance, at 39 euros, 59 euros and 79 euros.

This summer young people will also benefit from many attractive offers on the TER network, managed by the regions. "All of them offer great offers!" says Christophe Fanichet. Occitanie, for example, is introducing one-euro tickets for those under 25, as it did last year, while Pays de la Loire offers a "youth pass" at 25 euros allowing unlimited travel in July and August.
