From industrial engineering expertise to the birth of PERCENTAM
PERCENTAM is the fruit of the long career of its President and Founder, Pascal Clément. This engineer and holder of a master's degree in reliability and industrial maintenance started in 1996 as a marine mechanic. During his career, he has developed an expertise in reliability and industrial maintenance combining teaching with the practice of engineering in the field.
Energy production, agri-food, aerospace manufacturing, mining, primary metal, marine mechanics and research and development in reliability and predictive maintenance are among the industry sectors in which he has worked.
His professional experiences, combined with his teaching, allowed him to assimilate the fundamentals of asset management. For him, innovation is about mastering established concepts, rather than reinventing them.
His challenge: to integrate them into a concise process, delivering strategies aligned with business objectives and adapted to the local context of operation.
The P-CAM (Performance-Centered Asset Management) process
PERCENTAM offers its services to all industry players, from asset managers to first-level executives, operators, technicians, engineers, reliability and analysts of operational data, quality, reliability and maintenance. Energy, transport, production, marine, distribution, mining, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, aeronautics and food are all areas that are part of his asset management skills.

The method consists first of all in establishing a vocabulary with pragmatic tools and common concepts, aligned with European and international standards such as NF EN 13306 on industrial maintenance and ISO 55000 on asset management. Then, the participants engage in a phase of collective reflection to reach a consensus on the process to be put in place. Each member of the team perceives his role and contribution in the overall performance of the company. The idea is not to revolutionize everything; but to start from the existing, and to improve it by successive evolutions at a pace adapted to the local context of the client.
Subsequently, if necessary, Pascal Clément assists the teams in the development and implementation of the process and carries out audits as a consultant. Ultimately, the P-CAM process allows the development of the full potential of the assets.
