The family home is one of the forerunners of trends, which could almost make us forget the fact that Biondini Paris, known today throughout the world, was born almost 40 years ago.
Family affair
The shoe is to the Melloul family what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris: as far back as we can remember, it's hard to imagine one without the other. In Tunisia, first of all, with a great-grandfather shoemaker and a production plant... until Paris where Patrick, the CEO of the company, trained in the trade with his father in their shops on the Grands Boulevards...
The Biondini saga really began in 1985, when the couple Patrick and Sandra Melloul opened the very first boutique of the house on the famous Parisian avenue of the Champs-Élysées.
Passionate about the shoe and its power to sublimate women, their project is obvious: to make the shoe THE flagship piece of any wardrobe - exit the status of accessory - with watchwords, rhinestones, vertiginous heels and femininity.
To achieve this, they began by finding unique models created by Italian craftsmen, still little known at the time. Thanks to a varied, original and avant-garde selection, every day an increasing number of customers pass through the doors of the shop, which will soon become known far beyond the French capital.
Very quickly, Biondini Paris became the first Parisian partner of the biggest brands, which wanted to develop the retail sale of their shoe lines, such as Saint Laurent Paris, Alexander McQueen or Valentino.
With its notoriety, the Biondini couple is a real trend incubator and is constantly looking for new talents... many of which have now become essential references in the world of luxury footwear. The brand offers, in fact, the wonders of brands such as Le Silla, Casadei, The Attico, René Caovilla, Zanotti, Gianvito Rossi or Aquazzura, to name but a few.
An expertise and a passion transmitted, as a matter of course, to the children of the Biondini couple, who wish to perpetuate this intergenerational love story. Armand, the art and purchasing director, is supported by his sisters Sarah, director of shops and VIP customers, and Rebecca, marketing and development consultant. This trio now plays a fundamental role in the emancipation of the family home.
The shoe heaven
Now one of the most prestigious addresses in Paris, with the famous boutique at 78 Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the flagship store located at 42 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Biondini Paris has developed in an increasingly demanding market.
The vision of its founders is certainly not unrelated to this success, and has also allowed the brand to acquire over the years an informed, international and above all loyal clientele.
