Since Covid and in the face of unemployment at its lowest (7.2% in the second quarter according to INSEE), applicants are raising the stakes against recruiters competing to find coveted profiles. "As long as this situation of high tension persists, candidates maintain their favorable position," says Laurent Blanchard, regional director of Page Group France, a specialist in employment and recruitment. However, he continues, "companies are more cautious about their hiring plans."
