The seniors' project will soon be in the hands of the social partners. The policy document, which has been awaited since October, and which will give the go-ahead for negotiations mainly on the employment of seniors, retraining and professional attrition, will be sent in the coming days by the government. Since September, trade unions, employers and advisers to the executive have been consulting behind the scenes on the framework set to tackle all the issues surrounding the extension of careers, with the prospect of raising the retirement age to 64.
