"It's old-fashioned." Antoine, a 30-year-old self-employed entrepreneur, is one of those French people who has little faith in the future of business cards. "We've entered an ultra-digital era, where I don't think these little pieces of paper have a big impact on networking," he continues. This opinion is not very common in France, according to VistaPrint, a behemoth in the business card sector: "In the studies we conducted with our customers in 2022, 62% of entrepreneurs are convinced that the business card remains a relevant medium," says Sabine Léveiller, vice-president of marketing Europe for the group with a turnover of €1.4 billion. But is the reality consistent with this internal study? Le Figaro investigated.
