The mechanic who lifts the hood of your car sometimes opens Pandora's box, filled with worries in chaos. The Carly box, on the other hand, promises you a serene maintenance of your vehicle and savings in the garage. "We give control back to the average person," says Dali Ati, Carly's France director. We are giving them back some power, in the face of an industry that has sometimes sacrificed reliability on the altar of profit. The proposal sounds tempting on paper, but is the case really effective? Is its use a source of savings, at a time when garage prices are soaring?

The handling of the device, in itself, is childish. Your car's on-board diagnostics port is usually located under the steering wheel. Remove the cover, plug in the Carly box, turn on the ignition and connect to the dedicated app. This then displays the list of detected defects, with their level of severity.
