Today, an earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted central Greece, with no injuries reported.
"The earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers and 20 kilometers south of the town of Alasuna in central Greece, without any reports of human casualties or material damage," Reuters quoted the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center as saying.
A devastating earthquake struck the Aegean Sea off the coast of Greece with a magnitude of 7 on the Richter scale in October last year, killing two people and wounding eight.
