The Palace of Culture in Homs embraced the Julnar dance theater group, which performed folkloric dancing paintings mixed with poetic flashes, praising the beauty and nobility of Syria.

Thirty male and female dancers participated in the show and included a combination of paintings that traveled between the provinces through songs, dances and costumes drawn from their respective heritage with poetic accompaniment describing the authentic Arab customs such as generosity, magnanimity, hospitality and pride in heritage and nobility.

Ali Hamdan, the director of the show, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent that today's concert is being presented for the first time in Homs and reflects the richness of Syria that extends throughout history, pointing to the group's keenness to enhance the cultural structure and cultural affiliation in the face of globalization.

According to Hamdan, the group was inspired by the diversity of folklore, culture and civilization that Syria enjoys and our growing need to embrace the human being and deepen his belonging to his identity through a heritage tour that included paintings that mixed the traditions of the provinces with a special combination.

It is noteworthy that the Julnar Dance Theater Company was established in 1997 and includes 60 dancers and dancers of all ages.
