A little something is always possible - and the bridges become the big issue

Anyone who does a little something every year prevents the very big measures from being implemented.

According to this principle, the municipality of Hohenkammer keeps its infrastructure at a good level.

Hohenkammer - People in Hohenkammer are very proud that the roads in the entire municipality are in good condition.

We know that this is not the case in all municipalities.

This year the municipal road between Untermarbach and the B13 intersection will be renewed - and then the Schlossstrasse in the village.

The popular abbreviation is to lose its attractiveness on Schlossstrasse due to structural measures.

Drivers from Petershausen in the direction of Allershausen or Fahrenzhausen can save themselves the mountain with its curve on the main road this way.

With the renovation, the abbreviation should lose its popularity.

The community also pursues the forward-looking policy of constant action in the rather invisible area under the earth.

This year the sewage network in Hohenkammer-Nord is to be repaired.

For this further camera visits are necessary.

But even in this community there are things that cannot be planned - and that was the news a few weeks ago that there is an urgent to very urgent need for action on four bridges.

At the two river crossings in Herschenhofen it is not yet clear how to proceed.

Berti already has the decision to build the bridge in Schlipps in his pocket

It is currently clear that the new bridge in Schlipps will have to be built in 2022 and that the Glonnbrücke near Deutldorf, a good kilometer away, will have to be rebuilt afterwards.

"This year we have the planning year," says Mayor Mario Berti.

He already has the decision to start the new Schlipps building in his pocket and can now tackle the specific planning without wasting time.

Since the bridge is currently limited to three tons, it may not be used by school buses or fire brigade vehicles.

When it comes to the community's voluntary services, the mayor has the implementation of a dirt park at the top of the list.

A suitable location has already been found on Pfarrer-Egger-Straße not far from the sports grounds.

This implementation together with young people from the community is to be tackled again this year.

This meeting point would be a significant enrichment, especially for older young people.

Mayor Berti has other major developments on his radar beyond the structural aspects.

Like many other municipalities in the district, a council information system is now being introduced.

A trial run is planned for this purpose in late summer.

“This is an important step for the community,” says Berti.

The exam still has to be rescheduled

The new community chief would like to catch up with the new council body, which was prevented by the start in the middle of the pandemic.

The committee has so far taken care of everyday tasks and has not yet had the opportunity to take an exam.

This year the mayor hopes to hold a workshop with local decision-makers.

There, the goals of the Hohenkammer municipal council for the coming years are to be jointly defined.

For the workshop, however, the pandemic needs to be relaxed and improved.

The municipality has therefore cut taxes for three years in order to relieve citizens and companies at least a little.

The mayor wants to help clubs and organizations with the community so that this network gets through the crisis as unscathed as possible.
