Ankara-Sana

The Turkish lira continued its losses against the dollar, as it decreased by 0.45 percent in today's trading.

Reuters reported that the exchange rate of the Turkish lira amounted to 7,6,590 against the dollar today, in a new decline ahead of a meeting of the Turkish central bank on the interest rate.

The Turkish currency continues to deteriorate due to the deteriorating political and economic conditions in the country as a result of the policies of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime and its repressive measures that led to a decline in tourism and investments and a decrease in the country's foreign exchange earnings.
