The Israeli team will hold two friendly matches in June, before the opening of the Euro tournament.
This was announced by the association today (Thursday).
In the first game, Israel will host the Montenegro team on the 5th of the month, and four days later it will host Lisbon against the European champions, Portugal.
The meeting with Israel is expected to be the last preparatory game of the European champion ahead of the opening of the campaign to defend its title.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who has met the Israeli team twice before and has not scored, will hope to be on the roster and find the net against the blue-and-whites as well, to take another step towards the all-time record in national team conquests, where Ali Dai holds 109 goals (Ronaldo has 102 so far) .

"Everything is being done to get to the friendly matches against Montenegro and Portugal after the successful opening of the World Cup qualifiers this coming March," said national team coach Willy Rotensteiner.
"Every game that the Israeli team plays, in an official tournament or in a friendly meeting, helps us move forward. It is clear that playing in Lisbon against the European champions, with some of the best players in the world, is challenging, but we will strive, as always, to achieve a result that will make Israel's fans proud.
