A seminar in the culture of Mezze, about the attempts of modern liberalism to control Arab art and culture

Modern liberal attempts to control Arab art and culture and abolish the culture of resistance and confront Zionism in the region are the axes of the symposium held by the Arab Cultural Center in Mezze today.

Researcher Fadil Abdullah explained during his participation in the symposium the importance of resistance writers and their impact on Arab culture, especially those who were assassinated by the hand of Zionism after they posed a danger in educating the Arab generation and planting militant ideology in them.

Abdullah pointed to the great attempt that modern liberalism is trying to spread to cancel the memory of the generation and direct them to what makes them satisfied with all that the occupation is planning after a number of militants such as Kamal Khair Bek, Ghassan Kanafani, Majid Abu Sharar and Kamal Nasser have been assassinated.

While the artist Suleiman Kattan pointed out the seriousness of the behavior of the artists and actors who were affected by what the West and Zionism convinced them, so they were left without them and were shocked by disappointment and disappointment. .

In his axis, the researcher Bakour Al-Aroub spoke about the dangers of the weakness and dispersal of the Arabic language, the domination of dialects over the culture, the leakage of so-called spoken poetry, and his attempt to control the culture, in addition to urging interest in classical Arabic, especially in embodying civilization and culture for their accurate access to the future.

Al-Aroub believed that interest in culture, originality and Arabism is one of the foundations that strengthen belonging, because belonging is the phenomenon that most drives a person to defend his land and his dignity with the land to which the person belongs, as well as dignity.

Director Muhammad Nasrallah and poets Ahmed Dhamam, Thaer Mahfoud and Mahmoud Najjar presented interventions that added to the symposium ideas about fighting modern liberalism and fighting cultural conquest.
