The head of public relations at the Arab Federation for Leather Industries, Muhammad al-Boushi, revealed that about a thousand export contracts were signed between Arab businessmen and companies participating in the Silla International Export Fair for shoes, leather industries and production requirements organized by the Arab Federation for Leather Industries in the exhibition city and concluded its activities last week.
In a statement to SANA's delegate, Al-Boushi stated that the exhibition achieved more than expected results through the agreements and understandings signed between the companies participating in the exhibition and the Arab merchants and businessmen who were invited to the exhibition.
Al-Boushi stated that these contracts and shipping requests that have been agreed upon are more than the capacity of the companies participating in the exhibition and require the concerted efforts of all government and other efforts to support the footwear and leather industry and provide work and production requirements for facilities to work with all their energies around the clock to secure the export quantities of these products that were able To impress the visitors of the exhibition due to its high competitiveness in quality and competitive price.
In this context, Al-Boushi called on the Ministry of Industry to coordinate and work with ministries and authorities to secure the requirements for implementing these deals that lead to an increase in the volume of exports, move the wheel of production and markets, increase job opportunities, and operate many sectors related to this industry, directly or indirectly.
