Angelina Jolie sells Churchill's painting, record collection

Churchill was inspired by the Moroccan city and created the painting during a tour of the city during World War II in 1943.


The work, which was owned by actress Angelina Jolie, was estimated at between 1.5 and 2.5 million pounds. , but the offers have soared up to - in fact - 7 million.


Calculating the fees, the final figure is 8.2 million pounds. Two other Churchill paintings were also sold: the three works, overall, were sold for 9.43 million pounds.
