Brazil, 1,641 deaths from Covid in 24 hours, never so many

(ANSA) - SAN PAOLO, 03 MAR - Brazil has recorded 1,641 deaths from Covid-19 and 59,925 infections in the last 24 hours.

    This is the highest number of fatalities in one day since the start of the pandemic.

The previous record was set on July 29, 2020, with 1,595 deaths.

The overall toll rises to 257,361 victims compared to 10,646,926 cases ascertained.
