Difficult, but there are a few exceptions.
During these February holidays, and as the weather is rather mild, the desire is great to treat yourself to some pretty and reassuring walks outdoors.
Only, it is not so easy to navigate between what is open or closed due to the Covid-19 crisis.
If consistency is not always obvious, logic can guide your steps.
With exceptions that prove the rule ...
If it's public, it's open
As the government decreed in October, parks, gardens and green spaces can open, as long as they respect the health measures in force such as the curfew.
This applies for example in Paris to the Tuileries garden (1st) or to the Jardin des Plantes (Ve), excluding the menagerie, galleries and greenhouses.
By extension, the parks of the castles and estates managed by public establishments (State, Department, town hall, etc.) have also kept their gates open: Versailles (Yvelines), Fontainebleau (Seine-et-Marne), Chantilly (Oise), the domain of Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine)…

Same thing in the region with the gardens of La Motte-Tilly (Aube) or Carrouges (Orne), managed by the Center des monuments nationaux (CMN) or part of the alignments of Carnac (Morbihan).
The cemeteries, also places for walks, also remain accessible, and in particular those on the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy.
Rare exceptions in the private sector
Either by lack of authorizations, or for reasons of profitability, few private monument parks open their doors to the public.
Among the exceptions: the sculpture garden of the Musée Rodin (7th century), a public but not subsidized establishment, has been accessible again since January 16 with an exemption.
The Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence (Alpes-Maritimes) has followed suit and its garden of 100 sculptures can welcome the public since February 8.
More recently, the elected officials of the Drôme wrote to Roselyne Bachelot to demand to be able to reopen the Palais du factor Cheval, an outdoor work.
Amusement parks and zoos closed ... except one
Mostly seasonal, amusement parks have yet to open their doors.
All hope to obtain authorization to do so in early April, depending on the evolution of the health situation.
As for zoos, only one has opened partially from Christmas: Thoiry (Yvelines).
The safari part allows you to observe the animals from your car without any health risk.
Thoiry has also obtained permission to present his Chinese lantern course in the castle grounds.
The others, including the Vincennes Zoological Park, are waiting for better days without specifying a date.
