If

Lombardy

will not become the red zone, high schools could reopen in the region on Monday.

This is due to the decision of the TAR which, accepting the appeal of the 'At school' committee, suspended the order that provided for the Dad at 100% until January 24, issued by the governor Attilio Fontana.

The theme of the school was the subject of a discussion this morning between the president of the Region himself and the prefect of Milan Renato Saccone, in which the new vice president and regional councilor for Welfare, Letizia Moratti, also participated.

Fontana and Moratti - as far as we know - have asked the Prefect for clarification on the technical times for the reopening, confirming the will to implement the sentence of the Tar.

In Saccone, moreover, the themes of the reopening of schools in safety, local public transport and auxiliary services linked to the recovery, such as the surveillance of the police on incoming and outgoing gatherings, were highlighted.

High school students are not expected to return to classes in attendance at 50% in

Lombardy very

soon

, despite the decision of the TAR which suspended the effectiveness of the regional ordinance that establishes only remote lessons until 24 January.

"For the moment - explained Fabio Molinari, director of the school offices of Sondrio and Cremona - I believe that the high schools of our province will not return on Monday, unless specifically indicated by the Dpcm or by higher administration bodies".

"In theory - he said - schools could resume teaching in the presence of 50%, however we are on the eve of a new Dpcm with effect from January 15. So, while we are waiting for indications, also from the regional school office, I think it is appropriate for now to wait ".

In view of Monday's reopening in

Lazio,

the public transport service has been strengthened, explained the regional school office in a communication addressed to families.

"All the local public transport companies have enhanced the service - reads the communication - Cotral has added 500 trips a day by renting" tourist buses "and has added others by increasing the frequency of passages of their vehicles; ATAC is offering 1,500 trips in more per day; Astral, a company of the Lazio Region, has concluded a race for 1,100 more races a day. The additional races have been included on the routes and at the times that are used by students ".

A maximum of half of the seats can be occupied on the vehicles.

"Having reached this threshold of 50%, the Cotral vehicles will no longer accept passengers - it is emphasized -. The crowding of ATAC vehicles will be controlled by a team of inspectors".

"Being back in attendance is important for our children: it means regaining the sociality sacrificed in the last two months. It means recovering the students most in difficulty" is emphasized in the communication.

Since the

Puglia Region

ordered the suspension of face-to-face lessons, ie from the end of October, there has been "a drastic reduction in cases of contagion in schools".

This is what emerges from the analysis of the graphs made by the planners of the EIC, Epidemic Intelligence Center, the operational center of the health surveillance of the prevention department of the Asl Bari, active in Covid monitoring in schools.

The curve of infections between teachers and pupils of institutions of all levels, in the province of Bari, experienced a surge between October 19 and November 2, coinciding with the start of the second wave.

On 26 October the Puglia Region then issued the order to suspend teaching activities in the presence and in the ten days following the closure of the schools, which is the average incubation period of the virus, the contagion curve among both teachers and pupils has started to drop significantly.
