Dozens of rationing seizures against a number of violating commercial activities in Lattakia, Daraa and Aleppo

The directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Lattakia, Daraa and Aleppo have organized dozens of rationing controls against commercial activities and bakeries, as they follow up on the work of markets and bakeries.

In Lattakia, the directorate’s officers organized 50 supply controls today, which were distributed among 27 rationing controls against a number of people in violation of the failure to announce the prices. These included vegetable markets in Jableh, Lattakia, El Owaina, Qinnas and Annaba, in addition to three controls due to pre-grinding of meat, according to Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Samer Al-Sousi .

Al-Sousi indicated in a statement to Sana that the directorate also recorded a seizure due to the possession of materials of unknown origin, in addition to a seizure due to the possession of expired foodstuffs and other restrictions for charging a public taxi overpaid wages, and a seizure against a violator for not submitting a cost statement in addition to four seizures of an advertisement at an extra price and nine other violations due to Not having purchase invoices.

Members of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate in Daraa also organized 18 supply controls that affected a bakery and a sweet shop in the city, in violation of the possession of 28 bags of smuggled food flour for use in the confectionery industry, where the quantity was seized and legal measures were taken against the violator.

The seizure included two bakeries in the city of Al-Sanamayn, one of them “special” for the violation of the presence of foreign materials in bread and the production of poorly made bread. The seizure also included food and fat stores in the city of Izra for violations of possession of expired materials and materials of unknown source, while the rest of the violations were not announcing prices, red meat and highlighting Irregular bills and extra charges for passenger services and food samples.

In Aleppo, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in the governorate organized 73 supply controls that affected bakeries in the districts of Al-Malaab Al-Baladi, Al-Mashhad, Sheikh Taha and Baghdad Station, with violations of bad bread production, bagless sales, and a lack of bundle weight, and they were approved for offenses selling outside the electronic card at an extra price.

According to a statement by the Directorate, Sanaa received a copy of it today. The seizure also affected a person collecting bags of washing powder from different brands and filling them with washing powder contrary to the original brands and selling them to the market as regular goods, and the necessary control was organized and the legal procedures were completed against him.

The rest of the seizures also included generators' stores with violations of charging extra wages in lieu of performing public services and not giving regular receipts to subscribers.
