The current low number of cases on the island has already meant that restaurants have been allowed to open their outdoor areas until 5 p.m. since March 2.

The Robinson Club Cala Serena of the Tui Group in Cala d'Or is now taking the first step.

Other hotel chains on Mallorca want to follow suit soon: Meliá, Hipotels, Grupotel, Iberostar and Barce Barceló also want to reopen in April and May, according to the “Mallorca Zeitung”.
