The Bourges prosecutor's office on Wednesday March 3 requested a one-year suspended prison sentence and a ban on practice for at least two years against a general practitioner suspected of sexual assault against a patient.
The judgment was reserved on May 12.

The facts which are accused to the doctor Berruyer, "
massages and kisses
" during a consultation, according to the public prosecutor of Bourges Joël Garrigue, date from November 2017. The patient, a young woman in her twenties at the time of the facts, had filed a complaint a few hours after the consultation.
The doctor, now in his eighties, with a clean criminal record, has refuted the accusations.
The order of doctors of Cher had indicated before the trial at the Criminal Court of Bourges that a sanction of "
two months of suspension
" against the practitioner had been pronounced by its disciplinary chamber.
It will be applied from April 1 to May 31.
